BOOK REVIEW: A Court Of Thorns And Roses

A court of thorns and roses- Sarah J. Maas

There are no words to adequately describe Maas’s attention to detail and word usage as she leads us into this new world. Already within the first chapter her description of winter and all that it stood for sets the scene for what is to come. Upon page 19 her father says: “We need hope as much as we need bread and meat.” And this is met with Feyre’s disapproval. But actions, as she is to learn, have their consequences.

Through the eyes of Feyre, we experience so much! And every detail, every twist adds to the confusion of entering a world you once feared. Perhaps, in the end, all you have is hope, even if you don’t believe it.
