Hey there fellow book lovers and adventurers
As I discussed in my previous post I am working on some exciting new ways to write about my travels (hence my lack of blog posts) and in the meantime I am re-inventing my Instagram.
“My aim is for the blog to be a chronological order of events,”
While scrolling aimlessly through Instagram, as I so often do, I realized that my feed does not display my travels in order.
It starts off in the Bahamas, showcases some of South Africa‘s beauty and then there is a picture of a sunset in Arkansas.
My aim is for the blog to be a chronological order of events and therefor I am re-posting my full Instagram feed in hopes of portraying my journey more accurately.
Apart from the portrayal of my travels I am also providing some tips in the captions about small (but handy) things that helped me along the way.
The first installment of my journey

✈ 🇴🇫🇫 🇹🇴 🇫🇱🇴🇷🇮🇩🇦 (ᴏᴄᴛ 𝟸𝟶𝟷𝟺 – ᴍᴀʏ 𝟸𝟶𝟷𝟻) I left South Africa at the age of 18 to go and work in the hospitality industry in the USA. Leaving my home country was not very difficult for me because I have dreamt of traveling since I can remember. Arriving in the humidity of Florida after 24 hours of traveling (not exaggerating at all, wish I was) felt like a dream come true. I had done it. first life goal checked off of the list ✔ As life would have it I have spend a total of 4 & a half years in the USA (not consecutively) and although there were struggles and uncertainty I am who I am today because of everything. I cannot wait to share this adventure with you! 📸 Freedom Tower – Miami, FL P.S: I have attached dates to map out my travels a bit more realistically! #Travel #VisitFlorida #RouteAndReview
